Transport for Greater Manchester’s £3bn transformation of the city’s tram network will be something to be proud of. But lots of disruption is an inevitable consequence and a source of great frustration for many Mancunians. However, one thing worse than the disruption is not being kept informed about service delays and interruptions. Not knowing – is the enemy we can combat.
The ‘Transformation Information’ campaign provides travelers with much needed journey information. So they’re prepared in advance for any service alterations in the short term. But it was also important they could see the bigger transformational picture. So they felt positive about the impact this will have on them and the City, in the future.
This integrated campaign was driven by a dedicated microsite and supported by outdoor and press to give travelers easy access to information and keep them moving.
