BMW had been promoting the “joy” of driving a BMW for so long that people were forgetting they produced high-performance vehicles. So we decided that the BMW 1 Series M Coupé was the perfect car to remind the world that BMW still provides The Ultimate Driving Experience. Three “MPowered” films were created, highlighting precision performance and pushing the limits of possibility. Online, “Walls” smashed view and share records. Offline, there was a substantial lift in Canadian sales, and Canada’s entire allocation of the BMW 1 Series M Coupé almost sold out before it arrived. Remaining vehicles sold out soon after.
